Gratitude

This morning my 3 year old asked my 1 year old what he was thankful for, and he said, "Mom". I don't think he knew what she was talking about at all. But, it still made my day! I am thankful that my children love me. What are you thankful for?

That is so cute! I'm definitely grateful for my kids as well! One night I went to bed I noticed something hard under my pillow... it was a lid to a plastic box that my daughter had drawn a big picture of me taking them to a splash pad on (which we did that day), and at the top it even said "MAYLI TO MOM". It ruined my pillowcase because a lot of the ink smudged off but it was the cutest thing ever and it won't be returning to the box! :)
Being a mom is the best!
I think this is a good post to have as our "about us" question for this month. Thanks!

So cute...I treasure those moments!! This is a great question because I think gratitude can make all the difference on hard days. I am thankful for my husband's job, my new house, how excited my kids are about everything, all the great hugs and kisses I get, and all the "firsts" (first smile, laugh, roll over, etc.) that I'm seeing in my third baby right now. i'm thankful my kids still love me despite how imperfect I am. I am also grateful that school is starting again soon and we'll have a daily schedule again! And of course I am grateful for the gospel...I'd seriously be lost without it.
