The kiddos dress up and we go trick or treating. When we lived near family, my SIL always makes the best minestrone ever with breadsticks. A fun tradition to get together.

I'm hoping to incorporate some more fun traditions as my kids get older.

We love to eat yummy chicken enchilada soup and then get bundled up for trick-or-treating. Then, we come home and let the kids pig out while we watch a Halloween show and drink apple cider. I love Halloween! Thanks for the fun giveaway and I'm a proud displayer of the button...

I make the traditional worms and blood sauce(spaghetti) for my kids. We eat while we are desperately waiting for it to get dark. Then we trick or treat a bit and then go through the candy and everyone pays mom a "tax" for taking them out. I especially like the blue tootsie rolls and 100 grand bars!

We live in student housing, so our complex always does a little Halloween parade with the kids, it's adorable! Our son is 3 this year, so it's our first year that he actually knows what's going on. We can't wait to take him trick or treating!
I just became a follower, and your link has been on my blog for awhile now. Thanks, what a fun giveaway!!

Halloween and Fall are so nostalgic to me, I just love them! On Halloween, we eat pumpkin pancakes with apple cider syrup, go to Borders special Halloween story-time, read Halloween books and listen to the monster mash all day! :) My brother started the fun tradition of making a bonfire and having donuts and hot chocolate outside while kids trick-or-treat. Someday we'll do that too! :) For now, we just dress up, trick-or-treat, and devour the loot.

I'm a follower, and I have a button! :)

We love Halloween in our house!!! We will go to the ward Trunk or Treat a few days before, then on Halloween we will trick or treat around our neighborhood and then head to Grandma's for a Halloween party!! My girls are very excited.

I'm a follower, I added the button, and I blogged about it too.

Chili and bread sticks for dinner. Trick or treating for the kids. My kids are old enough now that they like to hand out the candy more than go trick or treating so we will see if they hand out candy this year or if they trick or treat.

So cute! My entire family gets together in our costumes and consumes scones and chili or soup and homemade root beer. We have a costume contest, a 'donut on a string' eating contest and games for the kids. A great time for all!

We get together with my husbands friends from HighSchool. We have evolved into having families and we dress up the whole bunch. Tradition

We usually trunk-or-treat at church, but on Halloween we tend to be the party throwers!! We fry homemade doghnuts and make a mean Whitches brew (Homemade Root Beer!)and everyone that wants to dress up without the freezing door-to-door begging for candy can come over and hang out. If there's time we make a pinata for the kiddies who think that they need more candy.
BTW have a button on my blog!

We go trick or treating. The kids look forward to it all year. Halloween is probably their second favorite holiday (after Christmas).

Since I got married we have done different things every year, either a friends party or just sitting outside the house with friends playing games and eating food passing out candy, its so fun! I don't know what now that we have a kid but hopefully we can come up with some fun traditions:) Love the start of the holiday season!

My oldest is only 2 so this will be our third Halloween (our traditions have changed since him, obviously!!). His first we went trick or treating at the local outdoor mall. The second, unfortunately he spent at the hospital after having a pretty hard surgery, and this one his daddy is working. So I don't know what we will be doing. But we ALWAYS go to boo at the zoo, and to the garden where we got married (they have a trick or treat street, even though THAT was cancelled this year as well!). We also carve pumpkins we picked from the pumpkin patch while drinking hot cider after a day at the corn maze! Long winded huh, lol. AND, I am following now too. Oh yea, and I followed from SITS!

We are pretty simple at our house, just a relaxing day at home and then go Trick or Treating with friends.

Jill said...

We do the trick or treating thing and I like to do one treat at home that the kids help make. I am a follower and I have a link on my blog...but not the actual button because I still can't figure that out.
