Add some Spice

Hello ladies! I have a very simple question. I frequently feel that I need a new wardrobe, that the one I've got just isn't very stylish. Several things that I have are from high school, and well I would love to go on a shopping spree. Obviously with the question of what we would all do with $100, we would all love that. But my question is this: what are some things I can do with my present wardrobe that doesn't require spending a lot of money? I have several solid colored shirts and I feel like I'm wearing the same thing every week. I have thought about making some cute scarfs, but I don't know that I'm a scarf person. Ideas for the unstylish??? Help! (things I could make would be great!)

I often feel the same way. I have recently started adding "chunky" bracelets & necklaces to my wardrobe. Some people might do belts, I just don't have that kind of a figure. Headbands too. Hope that helps. Hopefully some really stylish gals can help you out.

Sorry Chalece, you know me, I'm very not stylish. But I really like Shannon's idea, also a good pair of earrings spice it up too. :)

Jewelry, jewelry, jewelry, scarves, and felt flowers. All great ideas. I also like the idea of fun shoes, and Target always has some fun, cheap shoes that you can buy, wear, wear out, and not feel bad getting rid of them and buying another pair the next season. Lately, my most favorite "accessory" or article of clothing are my cardigans. They are so flexible and add a lot to your outfits. Target also supplies these in many colors. You can wear them all year, dress them up, or keep them casual. Plus add a little jewelry and there you go. Oh, I'm also LOVING the idea of fun/funky headbands too.... especially with summer on the way!!!

I know what you mean Chalece! I feel like I wear the same 3 or 4 outfits all the time.
I'm all about the cute jewelry and headbands/hairthings too! Those are so fun!
I think scarfs, hats and belts are way cute too... on other people! I just can't ever figure out how to pull things like that off. Maybe it's just because I'm not used to it.

Try layering. It adds a little more color. I hate belts and hats so I can't help you there!

Really the only thing that matters in MN is what your winter coat looks like, right? Ha ha! I always welcome a new season because I get excited about clothes/shoes I haven't worn in awhile. Even though they aren't new they at least feel that way!

I can't add anything new to what other people have said but it is always fun to get a new shirt or pair of shoes. I love outlet malls for this reason. It's always easier to find a better deal when you aren't looking for something in particular too!

Good luck!

A cardigan is a sweater. It has buttons so you can button it up, but mostly you leave it open. There are lots of different types, try googling it.
